My Christmas round-up concludes with fabric. Oh, fabric, how I love thee! Anna and her mom also packed up a huge pile of vintage linens, but I didn’t take any pictures of them here. You’ll probably see them surface in projects that are coming up soon.
I was grinning from ear-to-ear when I learned that my mom and dad picked up some fabric while they were over in southeast Asia. They chose a beautiful Batik and an exquisite royal blue silk while in Cambodia. For the time being I’m just drooling over them, petting them obsessively, and daydreaming about what I’ll make with them. These are truly fine fabrics and they will become truly fine garments.
On the fun end of the fabric spectrum, Sarah’s mom (Mama Bauer), once again had me grinning with some Betty Boop remnants. Mr. Giles had a couple naps on these fabrics, so you will have to excuse any cat fur you see in the photos. But hey, he approves!
